Hilong joint venture Ocentra Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd. established in Singapore

On July 24th, Hilong Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd. (Hilong  Offshore Engineering) and Swiber Offshore Construction Pte Ltd of Singapore (“SOC”) established a joint venture company—Ocentra  Offshore Pte. Ltd. The signing ceremony was held in Swiber Group’s headquarter in Singapore. Wang Tao, CEO of Hilong Group, Dai Daliang, Executive President, Xiao Long, Vice President of Hilong Group, and Geng Tao, General Manager of Hilong  Offshore Engineering, attended the signing ceremony.




Ocentra will be principally engaged in market development, technical and project management to provide services related to offshore oil and gas development and infrastructure construction. The business scope shall mainly consists of providing integrated engineering services for subsea pipelines, offshore transportation and installation of jacket platform and topsides, installation and repair of subsea facilities, vessel management and charter etc.

By leveraging Hilong  Offshore Engineering’s advantages with respect to the vessel and its general contracting capacity, as well as SOC’s experience in market development, proven technology and project management capabilities, we believe that, Ocentra will bring good projects and profits to both parent companies.” said Mr. Wang Tao, CEO of Hilong Group. “The establishment of Ocentra is a significant milestone, marking that Hilong Offshore Engineering been acknowledged by its international counterparts after years of efforts and work, also it means a critical strides taken by Hilong Offshore Engineering to explore a broader international market. ”


SOC specializes in providing integrated construction and support services for offshore oil and gas field development. It is a highly qualified and well-regarded contractor in the EPCI business. Headquartered in Singapore, the company currently executes projects all over the world.
